Celebrate India's Heritage and Culture
Bhartiya Sanskriti (Indian Culture) is the traditions, customs, languages, arts, values, and philosophies of India that have evolved over the centuries. Indian culture is based on unity in diversity, spirit of oneness, tolerance, and respect for nature, as well as relations between people. The whole culture is inspired by the Vedas, Upanishads, Ramayana, and Mahabharata and some Indian-origin religions like Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, etc. Its ideological slogan is ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. It is a Sanskrit phrase that means ‘The world is one family’. Indian culture embraces festivals, rituals, classical arts, and a way of life that promotes harmony and peace.
